We need:

Therapists in the Forward Counseling Jackson Office (109 E Lafayette St., Jackson, TN, USA) to work as independent contractor providers.

We hire:

• Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)

• Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC)

• Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider Designation (LPC-MHSP)

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

• With 2 or more years of experience in an outpatient setting

Prior experience with the EMDR approach is preferred but not required.

Our holistic approach has been greatly accepted across Tennessee and we have about 300 clients per month start counseling with us. We would love to add you to our team. Our team is eclectic, fun, supportive, effective and diverse. 

We are a multi-specialty group practice with integrated support staff, and we expect each provider to know how to complete tasks in a private practice fully without in-house coaching. At Forward Counseling, we utilize a collaborative approach with coworkers to help with tough cases. We have a need for EMDR, Trauma informed Therapist, Rapid Trauma Informed Therapist, Expressive Arts, Family Systems, Gottman Trained or Informed Therapist, Psychodrama Trained or Informed, DBT Trained or Informed. We also have an immediate need for therapist who enjoy working with college age young adults.

Responsibilities:

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues

• Create Treatment plan and coach clients along to meet goals 

• Offer assistance to individuals using The Sinclair Method for AUD

• Chart and Document sessions

• Charge copay during session

• Provide effective therapy

• Maintain a positive reputation and customer experience

• Implement and review treatment plans

• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies

• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields

• Familiarity with community mental health resources

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Ability to build rapport with clients

• Strong leadership qualities

• Ability to work as a therapist independently
