Denice is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and a graduate of The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders from the Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis) Masters degree program.

Denice worked at the Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities for 34 years. She specialized in providing speech-language therapy to children with and without developmental disabilities ages 12 months - 6 years.

Denice also provided social communication services in the form of social skills groups to middle school age children, teenagers, and young adults on the Autism Spectrum for the past 15 years.

Denice enjoys working with parents regarding IEPS, early intervention, behavioral issues, executive function issues, goals for independence, and daily living skills.

Denice considers herself a “functional, flexible, and fun” therapist. “I want the client to work on activities in therapy that will be important on a daily basis to client and family. If it isn’t working, I change it, and if it isn’t fun, I change it.”

In her spare time, Denice goes to the Theatre with her husband and spends time texting with her daughter who is attending college in NYC!

Denice is out of network with Insurance.  Her fees range from $55-125 per session, depending on the service provided.  To discuss your particular situation and to get a better idea of your rate, give our Office Manager a call at 901-930-7397 and Press 2
